While at the De Young, checked out the Olmec exhibit. Call me crazy, but I found it a little more fascinating than the fancy dresses exhibit upstairs.

M wanted to see the Balenciaga exhibit at the De Young so we spent the morning out there.
Surprisingly this is the first time I've been to the museum so I had to check everything out, including the top of the observation tower.

Had dinner at Ad Hoc in Yountville. Food was great, but because we had so much to eat throughout the day, I had to take the leftover flank steak home.

50% off at Jeremy's means M will be here for awhile so I decided to take some shots around the store and the park.

My brother was in the city looking for housing so we had brunch in the Mission in between his open houses and interviews.
Since we were in the Mission, M had to check out her favorite vintage store, Painted Bird.
I had to have myself a seat.

When I first started my daily sneaker blog it was for an experiment to wear a different pair of sneakers a day.
Now that the experiment is over (I was never able to finish it) I haven't taken many pics of my sneakers since.
So today, I did.
Today, I wore the Clae Zissou. Boat shoe inspired, this shoe was named after Bill Murray's character in Wes Anderson's Movie, "Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" about some dudes on a boat/submarine.

So my college buddies and I have this heirloom that's passed on from one guy to the next at their bachelor party. It's a make shift ball and chain that must be worn during the entire main night of their bachelor party.
This thing has been everywhere from Las Vegas, New Orleans, Canada, to Hawaii.
I wonder who's getting it next (not it).

Had my yearly eye exam 3 years too late with my friendly neighborhood optometrist, melnag2677.
I had to make another appointment to get my eyes dilated. Didn't want to sit in my meeting afterwards with shades on in front of the client. They might get the wrong idea.
