Sneaker: Nike Air Jordan III - white|cement grey

In 1988, Michael Jordan was the man. He made all-NBA first team and first team all defense. Defensive player of the year, slam dunk champ, all star game MVP and league MVP. WTF? There was nothing that he couldn't do...except win a ring. But is that entirely HIS fault?

So he had to have THE shoe to complement a year like that, right? Designed by former architect, Tinker Hatfield, the Jordan III was the first to have a the infamous air jordan logo, first to have the visible air sole in the heel, and had a unique mixture of materials including elephant print and tumbled leather. Also it was around this time that a certain Mars Blackmon (aka Spike Lee) began appearing in TV commercials around the world promoting his man's shoes.

FYI, this shoe was also a b!tch to obtain on release day a coule years back. I'm starting to hate Jordan releases.
